Randy spent his earlier years as a successful collegiate athlete turned high school teacher/coach and then self-made entrepreneur. He grew an athletic apparel/equipment company to over $5M+ in revenue in under 4 years, then sold it to a publicly traded sporting conglomerate, Sport Chalet. He then spent a decade training thousands of employees and business owners on how to build leadership teams, market effectively, grow sales and build sustainable growth in their companies.
His passion for technology led him to one of the fastest growing software companies called Infusionsoft, which peaked with over 150,000 software users. As the VP of Business Training for customers, he developed and oversaw the expansion of the Elite Business Education curriculum program.
Since then he has led as the co-founder and CEO of Flip Investor Inc., a SaaS Financial Technology Company. His vision to empower all individuals to grow their wealth for the future through the use of AI investing technology and in the process create a democratization of the investing world.

Self-Directed IRAs were passed by Congress back in 1974. Alternative IRA investments have always been allowed by the IRS, however, many IRA companies have placed artificial restrictions on IRA owners over the years. Self-Directed IRAs are not well known because most banks and brokerage firms prefer traditional investments.
It’s easy to make investments with a Self-Directed IRA. Once you find your investment and provide money to the seller, you will receive proof that your Self-Directed IRA is the new owner. It can be in the form of a Bill of Sale, title, deed, or simply a statement identifying your Self-Directed IRA as the asset’s new owner. The main difference is that the name on the title (or other documents) is the name of your Self-Directed IRA and not your name as an individual.
Yes. The most common way for an IRA to buy an asset is to pay cash. However, there may be times when an alternative method of payment is practical.
