Example:
If you're planning to make a $50,000 investment, your account will need to have $50,500 in available cash—that’s $50,000 for the investment, plus the $500 required cash balance. You should also consider any potential administrative fees, which would require additional cash on top of the $500 minimum.

IRA to IRA Transfer (funds move from one institution to IRA Club)

Please note that each custodian has different transfer requirements. Fidelity is not the same as Edward Jones. Some firms require:

fax, email, or mail as delivery methods
originals, wet signatures, or e-signatures from the client
medallion stamps may be required for the client to obtain at their local bank

The IRA Club Transfer Team will initiate the transfer request once we receive:

Copy of the statement
Completed IRA to IRA Transfer Request Form
Confirmation of liquidation (liquidation means converting investments into cash) Please reach out to your current custodian and instruct them to liquidate. “I am requesting the liquidation of my holdings in my IRA account in preparation for an IRA-to-IRA transfer. Please liquidate the assets to cash and prepare the funds for transfer to my new IRA administrator, IRA Club.”

After IRA Club initiates the transfer, the surrendering firm’s processing time can take a few days, up to 3 weeks for funds to arrive to IRA Club.
